Here's another post where I talk about an area of my room that has been successfully cleaned and arranged, as well as talk about the significance of the items pictured. See other posts about my living spaces
here.
I have a few shelves in my room, but this one is at eye level and is easiest to see. I wanted to display a few items without having it be an overwhelming spot of clutter.
The records were gifts from Peter. I don't have a record player, so they are only for display purposes here. But the Advance Base
song is beautiful and so is the She & Him
single.
The keychains were also gifts from Peter. We have been giving each other these Yummy Breakfast and Yummy Dessert
keychains since early on into knowing each other. I used to have some on my keys, but the paint started peeling and I decided to stick to displaying them instead.
Love this shelf, especially the little strawberry!

i love little shelves like these that have the littlest things on them but tell such great stories about our lives. the stack of pancakes is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteyou should totally get a record player! :) i think you would really enjoy music so much more. it's my morning routine to pour a cup of coffee, and pop on a record in the morning. last night i bought amy winehouse "back to black" and currently listening to it on vinyl. her voice is a dream and i love how soulful she is! anyway... enough rambling here. I love this post... enjoy your day :)
i saw your post the other day about your morning routine and it does seem lovely! my boyfriend does have a record player, and i like going to his house and listening with him. maybe one day i'll get my own!
DeleteI REALLY need to listen to She&Him. I love Zooey and for whatever reason keep forgetting to check it out. And that's such a cute shelf- and i love the blue!
